Online Chess Classes for Kids in India

ChessWize coaches children aged 5 to 15 live online with FIDE-rated coaches, in small groups of six or fewer or one-to-one. The same coach stays with your child, parents get a weekly progress report, and unused sessions are refundable.

How ChessWize online classes work

Your child meets the same FIDE-rated coach over live video each session. The coach watches them play, corrects mistakes in real time, sets homework, and sends you a weekly WhatsApp report. It is structured coaching, not a self-guided app, with a clear path from the rules to tournament play.

Group, two-on-one, or one-on-one

Children learn in small groups of six or fewer, in pairs, or one-to-one. Many start in a group and move to 1-on-1 coaching for tournament preparation. The complimentary demo helps the coach recommend the right format.

What every family gets

Online chess classes for kids: common questions

What age can my child start online chess classes?

Children can start from age 5. Classes are grouped by age and level, so 5 to 8, 9 to 12, and 13 to 15 each learn age-appropriate material at the right pace.

Are these live classes or recorded videos?

They are live and interactive. A FIDE-rated coach watches your child play and corrects them in real time, which is the opposite of a recorded tutorial an app cannot adapt.

Will my child have the same coach every session?

Yes. ChessWize keeps the same coach with your child throughout, so there is no weekly rotation and the coach knows your child's game well.

How do I know if it is working?

Parents get a weekly progress report on WhatsApp covering what was taught, what improved, and what to practise next, in plain language for non-chess parents.

What if we need to stop or miss sessions?

Unused sessions are 100% refundable and families can pause for exams or holidays, so you are never locked into classes you cannot use.
