Services
ChessWize provides online chess coaching for children. Sessions are conducted live via video conferencing platforms.
User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information during registration.
- Ensure your child attends scheduled sessions or cancel with at least 4 hours notice.
- Maintain respectful communication with coaches and staff.
Payments & Billing
Coaching fees are shown on our courses page and are charged per the plan you choose (monthly subscription or term package). Fees are payable in advance. Pricing may change for future billing periods; you will be informed before any change affects you. Refunds and cancellations are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Scheduling, Cancellations & Make-up Sessions
Sessions run at the times agreed at enrollment. If your child cannot attend, let us know at least 4 hours in advance and we will offer a make-up slot subject to coach availability. Sessions missed without notice are counted as delivered. Families can pause the programme for exams or holidays — tell us in advance and remaining sessions are preserved.
Coach Continuity
We assign one coach who stays with your child through the programme. If a coach becomes unavailable (illness, departure), we will propose a replacement of equivalent credentials and offer a free trial session with the new coach before you decide to continue.
Child Safety & Supervision
All sessions are conducted over video with the expectation that a parent or guardian is present in the home during classes for children under 8. Coaches communicate with parents through official ChessWize channels only. Any safeguarding concern can be reported to [email protected] and will be treated with priority.
Intellectual Property
All course materials, curricula, and content are the property of ChessWize and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
ChessWize is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be communicated to enrolled families by email or WhatsApp before they take effect.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
