Not sure which program to pick?
Start with your child's age if they are new to chess — the age tracks pace the curriculum and session length to attention span, so a 6-year-old and a 13-year-old beginner learn the same fundamentals very differently. If your child already plays, choose by level instead: the coach confirms placement during the complimentary demo by watching them play a few positions, so you do not need to guess their strength.
The format choice — small group, two-on-one, or 1-on-1 — mostly comes down to budget and goals. Groups suit steady weekly improvement and are the most affordable; 1-on-1 accelerates tournament preparation because every minute is spent on your child's specific gaps. Many families start in a group and switch to 1-on-1 closer to their first rated event. Whichever you pick, the coach stays the same every session and you get a weekly WhatsApp progress report.
