Privacy Policy

ChessWize ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

Information We Collect

  • Contact information: Parent name, email, phone number, city.
  • Child information: Name, age range, chess level.
  • Usage data: Page views, form interactions, device type (via analytics).
  • Attribution data: UTM parameters, referral source, landing page.

How We Use Your Data

  • To schedule and deliver demo classes and coaching sessions.
  • To communicate with you about your child's progress.
  • To improve our website and marketing effectiveness.
  • To send relevant updates (you can opt out at any time).

Third-Party Services

We use the following services that may process your data:

  • Zoho CRM: Lead management and communication.
  • Meta (Facebook): Advertising attribution and conversion tracking.
  • Google Analytics: Website usage analytics.
  • PostHog: Product analytics.
  • Resend: Transactional emails.
  • Cloudflare: Website hosting and security.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services. You can request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at [email protected].

Your data rights (DPDP / GDPR)

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information at any time, per India's DPDP Act 2023 §17 and EU GDPR Art. 17.

To exercise this right:

  • Email [email protected] with subject DSAR: Delete my data
  • Include the phone number or email you used when contacting us
  • We respond within 30 days and confirm deletion in writing

Deletion removes your data from our database, CRM, email lists, ads attribution, and backups.

Children's Privacy

ChessWize coaches children, but our relationship is with you, the parent or guardian. All enrollment information is provided by parents — we do not collect personal data directly from children, and a child's details (name, age range, chess level) are used only to run their coaching programme and report progress to you. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use children's information for advertising.
