Why Haryana families choose online coaching
Haryana includes fast-growing NCR districts as well as industrial, agricultural, and university cities across the state. A child’s access to specialised chess teaching can therefore depend heavily on neighbourhood and travel time.
Online lessons avoid NCR congestion and connect families outside Gurugram and Faridabad with the same live teaching. A regular home slot is also easier to maintain around school, tuition, and family journeys.

Chess for kids in Haryana
Chess appears in school and district-level activity across Haryana, supported by state chess administration. A structured coach can guide weekly study, while over-the-board events remain important for applying that work against unfamiliar opponents. The state's competitive circuit runs under the Haryana Chess Association (affiliated to the All India Chess Federation), which organises the recurring Haryana State Chess Championships. Rohtak's GM Himanshu Sharma became Haryana's first Grandmaster in 2017, followed by Gurgaon's GM Prithu Gupta, India's 64th Grandmaster, in 2019.

We had been searching for a chess class online for our sons. Suddenly on instagram , we saw the ad for chesswize and connected with the them. The demo was really good and we started the classes for our almost 4.7 year old son. Ankit Rajoriya Sir engaged him really well , he very knowlegeble in his field. His classes are well structured and he teaches the concepts in simple and engaging manner. My son has started loving chess and has started applying the strategies. The environment of the class is really positive where kids feel safe asking questions and their queries are answered well. We truly appreciate his professionalism, dedication, and commitment towards his students. We highly recommend Chesswize and Ankit Rajoriya Sir to any parent looking for chess classes for their kids.

We are very happy with the coaching at Chesswize, especially with our son’s teacher, Ankit Rajoriya. Ankit sir is a wonderful coach especially for younger kids.He knows the game deeply but also teaches with patience, encouragement, and real passion. He explains ideas in a clear and easy way, so children can understand and use them in their games. His classes are well-planned, fun, and motivating. Since our son started learning with Ankit sir, we have seen big improvements in his chess skills, thinking ability, focus, and confidence. He creates a friendly environment where kids feel comfortable asking questions and are inspired to keep getting better. We truly value his dedication and care for each student. We strongly recommend Chesswize and Ankit Rajoriya sir to any parent who wants quality chess coaching for their child.

Coach Ankit has been amazing for my 8-year-old. He’s super friendly and explains chess rules in a way kids actually get. My son looks forward to every Chesswize class now. He motivates him to do better without any pressure, and I’ve seen fast improvement in both his game and confidence. Highly recommend Ankit for young beginners!

Online chess classes in Haryana: common questions
What is the cost of online chess coaching for Haryana children?
ChessWize starts from Rs 375 per class for ages 5–15. The child can learn 1:1 or in a live batch limited to six, in English or Hindi, with the same FIDE-rated coach weekly. Parents get a weekly WhatsApp report. The first 30-minute demo is free with no payment, and unused classes are refundable under plan terms.
Is online chess effective, and is there a ChessWize centre in Gurugram or Haryana?
ChessWize does not operate an offline centre in Gurugram, Faridabad, or elsewhere in Haryana. Every lesson is live online, so the coach watches play and responds immediately rather than assigning recordings alone. Children can still attend school or local over-the-board events to practise physical-board habits and competition routines.
Can the same programme serve both NCR and non-NCR families in Haryana?
Yes. Children receive the same coach standards, maximum batch size, and weekly parent reporting wherever they live in the state. NCR families save time otherwise spent in traffic, while families in cities farther away gain a wider coach choice. A reliable device and internet connection are the main location-related requirements.
