Refund & Cancellation Policy
At ChessWize, we want every family to feel confident in their decision. Here's our straightforward refund policy:
Complimentary Demo Class
The demo class is completely complimentary. There is no payment required and therefore no refund applicable.
Monthly Subscriptions
- Within 48 hours of enrollment: Full refund, no questions asked.
- After 48 hours but before the 3rd session: Pro-rated refund minus sessions attended.
- After the 3rd session: No refund for the current billing period. You may cancel to prevent future charges.
Term Packages (3-month / 6-month)
- Within 7 days of enrollment: Full refund minus sessions attended (pro-rated).
- After 7 days: No refund. Remaining sessions can be completed within the term period.
How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] or WhatsApp us at +91 84009 79997 with your enrollment details. Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
Pausing Instead of Cancelling
Families can pause the programme for exams, holidays, or travel. Tell us in advance and your remaining sessions are preserved — nothing lapses while you are paused. Unused sessions in an active package remain fully refundable per the timelines above, which is the same "refund on unused sessions" promise shown across our site.
Missed Sessions & Make-ups
If you cancel a session with at least 4 hours notice, we schedule a make-up at no charge. Sessions missed without notice are counted as delivered and are not refundable, since the coach's slot was reserved for your child.
What Counts as an Unused Session
An unused session is any session in your current plan that has not yet been delivered and was not forfeited under the missed-session rule above. Scheduled make-up sessions count as delivered once they take place. If you are unsure how many unused sessions remain on your plan, ask us on WhatsApp and we will confirm the exact count the same day.
