Why Bihar families choose online coaching
Bihar has a large, young population spread across Patna, regional cities, and many district towns. Parents often value academic activities, but access to specialist coaching can be much wider in the capital than elsewhere.
Live online lessons reduce that location gap and remove repeated travel on busy city or inter-town routes. Hindi or English teaching also lets families choose the language in which a child can discuss ideas clearly.

Chess for kids in Bihar
Chess is played in Bihar schools and through organised district and state competition. A regular coach can provide continuity between playing opportunities, while over-the-board events remain useful for practical experience. Bihar's competitive circuit runs under the All Bihar Chess Association, which conducts the annual Bihar State Championship along with FIDE-rated open, rapid and blitz state events. Madhubani-born Grandmaster Sriram Jha, who earned the GM title in 2010 and won India's national rapid championship in 2014, is the best-known player born in the state.

We had been searching for a chess class online for our sons. Suddenly on instagram , we saw the ad for chesswize and connected with the them. The demo was really good and we started the classes for our almost 4.7 year old son. Ankit Rajoriya Sir engaged him really well , he very knowlegeble in his field. His classes are well structured and he teaches the concepts in simple and engaging manner. My son has started loving chess and has started applying the strategies. The environment of the class is really positive where kids feel safe asking questions and their queries are answered well. We truly appreciate his professionalism, dedication, and commitment towards his students. We highly recommend Chesswize and Ankit Rajoriya Sir to any parent looking for chess classes for their kids.

We are very happy with the coaching at Chesswize, especially with our son’s teacher, Ankit Rajoriya. Ankit sir is a wonderful coach especially for younger kids.He knows the game deeply but also teaches with patience, encouragement, and real passion. He explains ideas in a clear and easy way, so children can understand and use them in their games. His classes are well-planned, fun, and motivating. Since our son started learning with Ankit sir, we have seen big improvements in his chess skills, thinking ability, focus, and confidence. He creates a friendly environment where kids feel comfortable asking questions and are inspired to keep getting better. We truly value his dedication and care for each student. Coach Ankit has been amazing for my 8-year-old. He’s super friendly and explains chess rules in a way kids actually get. My son looks forward to every Chesswize class now. He motivates him to do better without any pressure, and I’ve seen fast improvement in both his game and confidence. Highly recommend Ankit for young beginners!

Online chess classes in Bihar: common questions
What does ChessWize charge for online chess classes in Bihar?
Classes begin from Rs 375 per class for children aged 5–15. Families choose live 1:1 coaching or a batch limited to six, in Hindi or English, with the same FIDE-rated coach each week. A weekly WhatsApp report keeps parents informed. The 30-minute demo is free, and unused classes are refundable under the plan terms.
Do you run an offline centre in Patna, and can online chess work well?
ChessWize has no physical centre in Patna or elsewhere in Bihar; all coaching is live online. The child works directly with a coach who can watch games and correct thinking during the session. Local school play or organised tournaments can be used separately for in-person competition and familiarity with a physical chess clock.
Is Hindi available for young chess learners across Bihar?
Yes. ChessWize teaches in Hindi and English, so parents can choose the language that helps the child answer questions and describe plans without hesitation. This can be especially helpful at ages five to eight. The coach can introduce notation and standard chess terms gradually while keeping the explanation itself easy to understand.
