Hyderabad District Chess Association organised the Telangana Rapid Chess Championship 2026 at Yogahall, Lalbahadur Stadium, Basheerbagh. The same hall was listed for the Hyderabad District Under 7 Chess Championship 2026 dated 12 April 2026 and for the district Under-13 pairing dated 25 July 2026. Telangana Today listed a state-ranking tournament for 22 March 2026 at Lal Bahadur Stadium Yoga Hall, with separate sections for under-7, 9, 11, 13 and 15. In 2021 ChessBase India called Raja Rithvik R the boy from Hyderabad on becoming India's 70th Grandmaster. AICF names Saroor Nagar Indoor Stadium, Dilshuknagar, for the National Under-15 events of 12-20 October 2026.

- Enter a city Under-7 pairing dated 12 April 2026, or the district Under-13 pairing dated 25 July 2026, before looking at a state hall farther from home.
- If the child is already playing complete games, use the 22 March 2026 state-ranking sections at Lal Bahadur Stadium Yoga Hall as a same-city ranking start.
- Complete AICF registration for the 01 April to 31 March accounting year, and TGCA registration for 2025-2026 if the circular you send requires both.
- Practise rapid clock games online at a fixed slot, then keep that weekend free for Basheerbagh, Lalaguda or Dilshuknagar rather than adding a new weekday class.

Group coaching runs in skill-matched batches of strictly 4-6 similarly-rated students, taught as synchronized 12-week cycles with intense peer play and team-based tactics. If you want the coach's full attention on one child, the 1:1 Analyst Protocol is the private alternative. Either way the group your child joins is placed by working level, not by age alone.

Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
Yes. The ladder runs from beginner through intermediate to advanced, with age tracks for 5-8, 9-12 and 13-15, plus tournament-prep, rating-improvement and summer-camp-online roadmaps. Each level has its own sequence: a beginner finishes a complete game and learns opening principles, an advanced student audits their own games and converts training into events.

How will I know it is working?
You get a weekly WhatsApp report naming what the class covered, where your child struggled and what the next session targets. The coach also tracks games and homework between lessons, so improvement shows up in your child's own play, not only in a summary. You never need to know chess yourself to follow it.

Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Safety starts with the format: classes are live online sessions your child joins from home, with a coach on the call, not a recording. Batches are capped at 4-6 similarly-rated students, so the room is small and known. Because class happens in your home, you can sit in any time, and the weekly WhatsApp report tells you exactly what was covered.

Can we try before paying?
Yes. We offer one complimentary 30-min demo, and that same session doubles as a complimentary 30-min level check before you commit. Your child meets the coach and plays while you watch the format, and the coach checks the level in the same half hour. Neither part requires payment, and there is no obligation to continue afterwards.

What if we stop?
On a Hyderabad monthly plan, cancel within 48 hours of enrolling for a full refund, then a pro-rated refund minus sessions attended until the 3rd session, after which the current month is not refunded though cancelling stops later billing. Term packages of 3 or 6 months allow a pro-rated refund within 7 days of enrolling, cancel a session at least 4 hours ahead and a make-up is scheduled free, and the ₹2,500 starter pack of 8 classes keeps the first paid step small.

Yes. What do I have to do at home?
Little and specific. Younger children do best with five to ten focused minutes at the board, and a parent can help by noting any rule that causes confusion and sending it to the coach. For older children, one reviewed game from the week and a single question about it are enough to work from. The coach turns what your child brings into the next lesson's homework.
