What this Khammam class is

Khammam runs on India Standard Time (IST) and India does not observe daylight saving, so the windows never shift: each one is a Coach availability window (IST) and the local time is the IST time. Morning coaching starts at 9:30 AM-1:30 PM IST, with a later 10:30 AM-2:30 PM IST window, then 11:30 AM-3:30 PM IST. Afternoon options run 12:30-5:30 PM IST, 1:30-4:30 PM IST, 2:30-5:30 PM IST and a shorter 4:30-6:30 PM IST. Evenings go to 4:30-9:30 PM IST and 5:30-8:30 PM IST. Group classes run in exclusive, skill-matched batches of 4-6 similarly-rated students, so intense peer-play, group calculation and team-based tactical work stay part of every session, not an occasional treat. If you want the coach entirely on your child's game, the 1:1 Analyst Protocol gives one coach, one student, with positions drawn from your child's own play. Either way the coach knows each child's level from the first session onward.

Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
Yes. Roadmaps run from beginner to advanced and tournament prep: ages 5-8 learn safe move habits and short complete games, ages 9-12 remove avoidable losses and calculate forcing lines, ages 13-15 build a working repertoire. Beginner students finish a complete game and use opening principles; intermediate students link openings to endings; advanced students convert training into events. A 12-week synchronized batch gives the ladder a fixed rhythm.

How will I know it is working?
Every week you receive the Weekly WhatsApp report for every student, naming what was taught, what your child practised and what comes next. The dashboard adds what was covered in class, so you can follow the plan even if you have never played chess yourself. If progress stalls, the coach adjusts the weekly idea rather than letting the same drill repeat.

Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Every class is live with a named coach on screen, and the session runs on your family's own device at home, so the setup stays within your sight. You can follow what was taught through the weekly dashboard and the written WhatsApp report. Younger children can have an adult nearby for the first few minutes while they settle.

What if we stop?
If a Khammam family stops a monthly plan, the 48-hour window from enrolling still allows a full refund, then a pro-rated refund minus sessions attended until the 3rd session, after which the current month is not refunded while cancelling stops later billing. Term packages add a 7-day pro-rated refund from enrolling, leftover sessions can be completed within the term after that, and the coach can walk through the plan terms during the free level check so the numbers are clear before you pay.

Will the timings fit our week?
Yes. Coach availability windows cover the day in IST, which is Khammam's own clock: mornings from 9:30 AM-1:30 PM IST, midday from 11:30 AM-3:30 PM IST, afternoons such as 12:30-5:30 PM IST, and evenings to 4:30-9:30 PM IST or 5:30-8:30 PM IST. What do I have to do at home?
Your job at home is small and regular. For ages 5-8, five to ten focused minutes, one slow family game and stopping while the child is still interested beat a long drill block.
