How many children share the coach?
Your child trains in a skill-matched batch of 4-6 students, synchronized over a 12-week cycle so every child in the group is similarly rated and the pace fits. Peer play is intense by design. Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
There is a real ladder, not ad-hoc sessions. Younger children follow roadmaps for ages 5-8, 9-12 and 13-15, and every student is placed on a beginner, intermediate or advanced track with a written weekly objective. From there the path continues into tournament prep and rating improvement, each with its own milestones.

How will I know it is working?

Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Your child never travels to a class. Every session is live video into your own home, so your child sits in a room you control and you can sit beside them for any lesson, start to finish. The coach is a named coach who stays the same each week, so nobody unknown appears on the screen.

Yes. There is one free session: a complimentary 30-min demo where the coach also checks the level, with no payment before it. What if we stop?
Gaya monthly plans allow a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of enrolling. After the 48-hour mark and until class three a monthly plan is still pro-rated minus sessions attended, then the month is kept and later billing can end. Term leftover sessions can still be finished after a 7-day pro-rated window, and after that a pause still keeps remaining sessions instead of ending the pack early.

The Gaya District Chess Association is named in the All Bihar Chess Association's 2024-25 junior circular. The state junior championship was staged at Parvati Garden in Bodhgaya. The circular selected the top four in each group for the national Under-19. Look at the chosen event's requirements before entering. On average, students reach a first tournament in about four months.

What do I have to do at home?
Very little. Young children do best with 5-10 focused minutes, maybe setting up the board or solving two familiar positions, while older students keep a small error log or save one serious game link for review. You are not asked to teach chess, only to protect a quiet corner and a stable connection.
