How classes run

Your child can join a similarly rated academy cohort of four to six students or the individual programme. The level check comes first, so you can compare peer learning with one-to-one attention before selecting a format.

Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
The curriculum your child follows moves through beginner, intermediate, and advanced roadmaps. It starts with legal moves and complete games, develops tactical vision and candidate moves, then advances to calculation, repertoire work, event preparation, and independent game review according to the child's assessed level.

How will I know it is working?
You do not need to infer progress from wins alone. Your family receives a weekly WhatsApp report for every student, and the curriculum names observable signals such as legal play, threat checks, candidate moves, time use, and self-analysis at the appropriate level.

Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Sessions are scheduled live calls with a named coach, not an open public room or a recorded lesson library. Parents may observe, younger children can have an adult nearby for device help, and our child-safety page explains coach checks, official communication channels, and how to raise a concern.

What if we stop?
A monthly plan from Frisco allows a full refund within 48 hours of enrolling, then a pro-rated refund minus sessions attended before the 3rd class. The running month then stays on the bill, and a cancel is what stops later invoices. Fees follow one price list rather than a separate Texas package. The advanced roadmap covers event preparation and post-event review, which is a pathway rather than a promise of a particular placing. Will the coach teach in English, and can our family use Hindi?

Is there a tournament route for a child learning online from Frisco?

Yes. The Frisco demo is a live 30-minute session with a coach and a level check, and it needs no payment details. You meet the coach before you enrol.
Is my child’s privacy protected (COPPA)?
Classes are live and supervised, with no open chat with strangers and a named coach. We collect only what a parent provides to book and run classes, and a parent sets everything up. In the spirit of COPPA, children do not create their own accounts with us.
