Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
Yes, from first moves to rated play. Beginners learn the board and legal moves, finish a complete game, use opening principles and find basic tactics and endings. Intermediate work stabilises tactical vision and reads positional clues; advanced work deepens calculation and refines repertoire. Dedicated age tracks for 5-8, 9-12 and 13-15 run alongside, and a tournament-prep ladder goes from understanding the event to rehearsing tournament conditions.

How will I know it is working?
Every student receives a weekly WhatsApp report: what was covered, what improved, what to practise next. You do not need to play chess yourself to follow it. A 'Complimentary 30-min level check before you commit' sets an honest starting point, so each week's note is measured against something concrete rather than a vague sense that things are going well.

Every Miami session is a live, supervised class with a named coach, and there is no open chat with strangers. Which ages and levels do you teach?
