Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
There is a written ladder from first moves to rated play. Beginner students learn the board and legal moves, finish a complete game, use opening principles, and find basic tactics and endings. Intermediate and advanced tracks build tactical vision, candidate moves, positional clues, calculation, and repertoire, and a tournament-prep track converts training into events. How will I know it is working?

Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Classes are live online sessions with a named coach, and that coach is the same person every session rather than a different face each week. A parent can message the coach directly on WhatsApp, and the weekly report spells out what each class covered. If a rule or position confused your child at home, a photo or note sent to the coach starts the next lesson.

What if we stop?
Monthly enrolment in Palakkad can be reversed within 48 hours of enrolling for a full refund, and until the 3rd session a pro-rated refund minus sessions attended still applies, after which the current month is not refunded and cancelling stops later billing. If exams, travel, or a change of interest pauses chess, remaining sessions are kept, and a refund request on WhatsApp reaches the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
