How many children share the coach?
Group classes are capped at six children, and our synchronized 12-week batches are strictly 4-6 similarly-rated students so peer play stays meaningful. Your child is placed by working level, not just age, which keeps the group tight enough for the coach to hear every child calculate out loud. Families who want undivided attention can choose 1:1 lessons instead.

Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
The ladder is real: beginner, intermediate and advanced stages, dedicated tracks for ages 5-8, 9-12 and 13-15, plus tournament-prep and rating-improvement tracks. Each stage has written milestones: beginners learn the board and finish complete games, intermediate students connect openings to endings, and advanced players convert training into real events. How will I know it is working?
Every student gets a weekly WhatsApp report, so you see what was taught, what improved, and what to practise at home without asking your child to explain it. You also see the games themselves: the coach reviews your child's real positions, so progress shows up as fewer blunders and steadier play, not just a number on a screen.

Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Classes are live online sessions, not pre-recorded videos, and your child attends from home, so you always know where they are and who is teaching. The coach is a named adult who stays the same every week. Because everything happens at home in your own space, you can overhear the lesson whenever you wish, and the weekly report confirms what was covered.

Can we try before paying?

That session doubles as a level check, so we recommend a batch honestly instead of pushing you upward. You only decide about payment after you have seen the teaching, the platform and the coach with your own eyes.

What if we stop?
If your child stops a Junagadh monthly plan, cancel within 48 hours of enrolling for a full refund or a pro-rated refund minus sessions attended before the 3rd session, after which the current month is not refunded while cancelling stops later billing. Message us and we pause for exams, holidays or travel, keeping remaining sessions, or end the enrolment under those windows.

A U-17 Boys S.G.F.I. Junagadh City Chess Tournament was listed for 2026, along with a U-14 boys city event and a U-17 girls Gramy tournament. Ask Gujarat State Chess Association about later junior play; GSCA registration is compulsory for state-level tournaments. On average, students reach a first tournament in about four months here.
