Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
Yes. The ladder runs from beginner through intermediate and advanced to tournament prep and rating improvement, with age tracks for ages 5-8, 9-12, and 13-15. Beginners learn the board, legal moves, and finish complete games; advanced students work on calculation, repertoire, and converting training into events.

How will I know it is working?
You receive a weekly WhatsApp report for every student, so you can see exactly what was covered and where your child is improving, even if you do not play chess yourself. Between reports, saved games and short error logs give the coach concrete evidence to build the next lesson on.

Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Classes are live online sessions your child attends from home, with a coach working directly with them on screen. Because the class happens in your own space, you can sit nearby or check in at any point, and the weekly WhatsApp report keeps you informed about what each session covered.

What if we stop?
If you stop mid-term in Morbi, a monthly full refund exists within 48 hours of enrolling, then a pro-rated refund minus sessions attended until the 3rd session, after which there is no refund for the current month and cancelling stops later billing. Is there a path to tournaments?
Yes. Morbi appeared on the Khel Mahakumbh 2025 Under-11 girls and Under-14 starting lists. For later state-level play, ask the Gujarat State Chess Association; GSCA registration is compulsory for any state-level tournament. On average, students reach a first tournament in about four months here.

What do I have to do at home?
Very little from you. Younger children do best with five to ten focused minutes of practice, and short family games help when adults avoid correcting every move.
