Group batches are strictly limited to 4-6 similarly-rated students, so every child gets real attention and intense peer play. If you prefer full attention on one child, the 1:1 Analyst Protocol gives your child a private session with the coach, mapped to their current game and highest-value gap.

Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
Yes. The programme runs from ages 5-8, 9-12 and 13-15 tracks through beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, plus rating improvement and tournament preparation. Each level has a defined roadmap: beginners learn the board and legal moves and finish complete games, while advanced students deepen calculation and convert training into events.

How will I know it is working?

Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Classes are live online sessions your child attends from home, so you control the environment completely. There is no travel to a stranger's venue and no unsupervised offline room. You can be nearby or in the room, and because every session is a live class with a known, consistent coach, you always know exactly who is teaching your child.

What if we stop?
Surat can reverse a monthly plan with a full refund inside 48 hours of enrolling, then a pro-rated refund minus sessions attended before the 3rd class. After that the month in progress stays billed, though cancelling ends later charges. For 3-month or 6-month packages the refund window is 7 days after enrolling, minus sessions already taken; past that window remaining classes can still be taken before the term ends.

Gujarat State Chess Association registration is compulsory for state-level play; for a district selection, check that notice's requirements. Students reach a first tournament in about four months, on average.

What do I have to do at home?
Very little is required of you. Keep a board, notebook and login ready before the session, and help younger children settle in for the first few minutes.
