How many children share the coach?
Batches are kept small on purpose: 4-6 similarly-rated students learn together on a synchronized 12-week cycle, and one child can take the 1:1 Analyst Protocol instead. Placement happens after the level check, so a Brampton group is matched by working level rather than age, and you can see whether peer play or private attention suits before the term starts.

Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
The ladder is concrete: beginners secure the board, legal moves, complete games, opening principles, and basic tactics and endings; intermediate work covers candidate moves, positional clues, and opening-to-endgame links; advanced study audits the child's own games and deepens calculation. Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Classes are scheduled live calls with a named, vetted coach, not an open room or a video library. Batches are capped at 6, there is no open chat with strangers, and a parent can watch any session. What happens when daylight saving changes the clocks?
Ontario stays on daylight saving, so clocks fall back on Sunday, November 1, 2026, after springing forward in March. Your child's local slot stays exactly where it was agreed; only the India-side mapping moves by an hour, which is why the mapping is quoted as approximate. Nothing in your child's routine changes at the November changeover.
