Group batches are strictly 4-6 similarly-rated students, so your child trains with peers at the same working level and gets real attention each session. Intense peer play and group calculation are built into the format. Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
There is a defined ladder from first moves to rated events. Tracks cover beginner, intermediate and advanced play, plus tournament prep and rating improvement, with separate roadmaps for ages 5-8, 9-12 and 13-15. Each track lists concrete steps, so a beginner learns legal moves and finishes complete games while an advanced student refines a repertoire and converts training into events.

What if we stop?
If you stop a monthly plan from Thanjavur, cancel within 48 hours of enrolling for a full refund, then a pro-rated refund minus sessions attended before the 3rd class.
