- Deepen calculation. Exercises include candidate selection, comparison of resulting positions, defensive resources, and stopping points. Accuracy and evaluation matter more than the number of moves calculated.

How child safety works
Every coach clears a multi-step hiring process, and background verification — police clearance plus a reference check — is completed before they teach a child. Classes are live lessons rather than recorded lesson libraries, parents may sit in on any session, and a parent or guardian should remain at home during classes for children under eight. There is no physical ChessWize centre in Hardoi; teaching is online only, with a FIDE-rated coach running every lesson live. Children still gain a lot from real-board games, so families can add verified school or local events alongside coaching. Online study and occasional over-the-board play work well together, and Hardoi's rail links make event travel practical when it matters.
Will the classes work if our internet is mobile only?
It works whenever the connection is stable enough for a video class and an interactive board, which a steady mobile hotspot can manage. What matters is stability, not the source of the internet. Once classes run from home, the repeated trip toward Hardoi town or Lucknow disappears, and younger children may need an adult nearby for the first few minutes of setup.
Which ages and levels does the programme cover?
Dedicated tracks exist for ages 5-8, 9-12 and 13-15, and the skill ladder runs from beginner through intermediate and advanced, with tournament prep and rating improvement at the top. Children are placed by working level, not only by age, so a sharp nine-year-old and a careful twelve-year-old can sit in different batches. The level check before you commit decides the starting rung.
What happens at the free demo session?
The coach meets your child for 30 minutes, at no cost, and works out where the game actually stands: which rules are solid, whether tactics appear on the board, and what the next rung should be. You watch how your child responds, test your own connection and ask anything about the programme. Only then does a plan come into the conversation.
