How many children share the coach?
Batches hold strictly 4-6 similarly-rated students, matched by working level, with intense peer play, group calculation, and team-based tactical work over 12-week synchronized batches. If you want your child alone with the coach, the 1:1 Analyst Protocol maps the current game, targets the highest-value gap, tests the change in play, and resets priorities. Either way, your child is never one of twenty faces on a call.

Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Every class happens live over video call, at home, so you can see the teaching for yourself; there is no venue visit and no drop-off. Batches are capped at 4-6 children with a coach, and the same coach appears every week, so your child is never handed to an unfamiliar adult mid-course. The weekly WhatsApp report tells you exactly what was covered.

Can we try before paying?
Yes. We offer a Complimentary 30-min level check before you commit, with no payment. It is a level check, not a test to pass: the coach works out whether your child is starting from zero or already knows the moves, then suggests a batch size and schedule that match. You decide on the starter pack only after that.

What if we stop?
A Noida monthly plan allows a full refund within 48 hours of enrolling, then a pro-rated refund minus sessions attended until the 3rd class, after which the current month is not refunded and cancelling stops later billing. After 7 days on a 3-month or 6-month term there is no refund though remaining sessions can still be completed within the term, you are billed per batch, and with the free demo and the starter pack your first financial step stays small while you see whether the coaching suits your child.

Will the timings fit our week?
Coach availability windows run in IST from 9:30 AM-1:30 PM through 4:30-9:30 PM, including a 4:30-6:30 PM slot that lands after school and a 5:30-8:30 PM slot for later evenings. India does not observe daylight saving, so the IST times you see are the IST times your child attends: no shifting, no conversions. We fit the class around your week, not the reverse.

What do I have to do at home?
Very little, and it is structured. For ages 5-8, five to ten focused minutes a day is plenty: set up the board, solve two familiar positions, and stop while your child is still interested. Ages 9-12 keep one played game a week, mark the moment they felt unsure, and bring that question to class. Homework is matched to errors from the last session, so you never design it yourself.

How long before my child is ready for a tournament?
On average, four months. When the time comes, the tournament-prep track takes over: understanding the event, repairing the game plan, rehearsing tournament conditions, and reviewing the evidence. In event week itself, practice narrows rather than intensifies: familiar opening positions, a controlled number of calculation exercises, and games at the expected time control, instead of cramming new systems.
Will my child keep the same coach every week?
Yes. Our no-rotation promise means the coach who watches your child play in week one is still there in month three, noticing which habits have shifted and building on the previous session's work. You meet and approve the specific coach during the free demo, before any payment.
What happens in the free demo session?
The 30-minute demo is a level check: the coach plays a short game with your child, watches how they handle a few positions, and judges whether they are brand new to chess or already know the moves. Afterwards you get a straight recommendation on batch size and schedule, and nothing is owed for the session.
Which language are the classes taught in?
Lessons run in English or Hindi, so a child from a Hindi-medium or English-medium school in Noida can follow comfortably. Tell us your preference when booking the demo and we will place your child with a coach who teaches in that language. Chess notation itself is taught in standard symbols, so tournament preparation stays unaffected.
