Batches are strictly limited to 4-6 similarly-rated students, so your child shares the coach with a small, matched group rather than a crowded room. The 12-week synchronized format keeps that same group together, and intense peer play is part of the design. Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
Yes. Tracks run from ages 5-8, 9-12, and 13-15, then beginner, intermediate, and advanced, with tournament-prep and rating-improvement lanes above them. A beginner, for example, moves from learning the board and legal moves to finishing complete games, applying opening principles, and finding basic tactics and endings. Each level has a written roadmap, so progress has defined stops rather than vague promises.

Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Classes are live online from your own home, so your child never travels across industrial sectors for a lesson, and no second adult has to drive anywhere. A guardian starts the device for younger children and can stay in the room. Because the class runs on your screen in your own space, you are never shut out of what happens; the weekly WhatsApp report then records what was taught.

Can we try before paying?
Yes. Every Haldia family starts with a complimentary 30-min demo at no payment, and your child also receives a complimentary 30-min level check before you commit, so placement rests on evidence rather than guesswork. If the fit is not right at that stage, you have spent nothing.

If you stop a Haldia monthly plan, the first 48 hours after enrolling still allow a full refund. Until session three a pro-rated refund minus sessions attended still applies, then after session three the month is kept while cancelling still stops future charges.

Will the timings fit our week?

What do I have to do at home?
Home practice stays light and specific. Young children do best with five to ten focused minutes: setting up the board, one piece's movement, two familiar positions. Older students add short tactical work plus one slower game a week, saving the link or score sheet and bringing one honest question to class.
