Group batches hold 4-6 students of similar playing strength, so peer games happen between children at the same level. Batches run on a 12-week synchronized schedule, which keeps the group stable term to term. If you would rather the coach work with your child alone, the one-to-one track covers that.

Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
The ladder runs from a first complete game to rated play. Beginners cover legal moves, opening principles, and basic tactics and endings. Intermediate work adds candidate moves and positional clues. Advanced students audit their own games, deepen calculation, and connect training to real events. Age bands for 5-8, 9-12, and 13-15 sit alongside a tournament-prep track and an online summer camp.

How will I know it is working?

Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Classes are live video sessions in groups of six or fewer, or one-to-one, with a named vetted coach and no open chat with strangers. Parents can sit in on any lesson from the same device. What do I have to do at home?
Home practice stays light and specific. After each class the coach sets a short task, such as a couple of positions, one saved game, or a question to answer, and the weekly report tells you what it was. For ages 5-8, five to ten focused minutes with the board beats a long enforced session, and stopping while the child is still interested matters more than the clock.
