Class times for Indore
Indore keeps India Standard Time (IST) all year, and India does not observe daylight saving time, so every window we list is already local Indore time: the IST time and your wall clock are the same. Coaches hold a morning window of 9:30 AM-1:30 PM IST, midday windows such as 12:30-5:30 PM IST, and evening windows including 4:30-9:30 PM IST and 5:30-8:30 PM IST. Choose one fixed slot inside these windows for the week, and it stays the same each week.

How many children share the coach?
Batches are exclusive and skill-matched: strictly 4-6 similarly-rated students in a 12-week synchronized batch, so peer play stays intense and useful rather than chaotic. Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
There is a real ladder: age tracks for ages 5-8, 9-12 and 13-15, then beginner, intermediate and advanced roadmaps, plus tournament-prep and rating-improvement tracks. A beginner learns the board, finishes complete games and picks up opening principles; an intermediate student works on candidate moves and positional clues; advanced training converts practice into events.

Every week you receive a WhatsApp report covering what was taught, the homework set, and how your child is actually playing on the board. Because the same coach writes it each week, the notes build on one training plan instead of restarting, and you can ask specific questions rather than guessing whether it is working.

Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Classes are live and online, so your child learns at home on a laptop or tablet with a coach on screen; you can sit in the same room and watch any session. There is no travel to a centre, and the weekly WhatsApp report tells you exactly what happened in class, so nothing about your child's training is hidden from you.

What if we stop?
If plans change, an Indore monthly plan still returns a full refund when you cancel within 48 hours of enrolling, then a pro-rated refund minus sessions attended until the 3rd session, after which the current month is not refunded but cancelling stops later billing. Term packages add a 7-day pro-rated refund from enrolling, and the starter pack lets you begin with a short block first.

Will the timings fit our week?
Coach availability windows run from 9:30 AM-1:30 PM IST in the morning through midday slots to a 5:30-8:30 PM IST evening window, with the widest late slot at 4:30-9:30 PM IST. Because Indore sits on IST, what you read is the time your child logs in. Classes are fixed weekly slots you pick, so a single session can sit after school and homework without another cross-city pickup.

District Chess Association Indore is named on the 2026 senior circular, dated 2 to 4 October 2026 at Vaishnav Higher Secondary School. Chessevents listed an under-7 and under-9 selection at Indore Public School Eastern Campus. Ask that association about later junior play, and check that event's requirements. On average, students reach a first tournament in about four months.
