Group batches are strictly capped at 4-6 similarly-rated students, placed together by working level so peer play stays genuine and every child gets coach attention. Is there a real curriculum from beginner to rated play?
Yes. There is a defined ladder from beginner through intermediate and advanced to tournament prep and rating improvement, with age lanes for 5-8, 9-12 and 13-15. A beginner learns the board, legal moves and first complete games; advanced students work on calculation depth, repertoire and converting training into events.

How will I know it is working?
You receive a Weekly WhatsApp report for every student, so you can see what was covered and how your child is progressing without attending the class or arranging a call. Coaches track individual understanding in each batch, and rating-improvement students review a measured trend rather than a vague impression.

Is it safe, and can I see the classes?
Classes are live online sessions your child attends from home, so you control the environment and can be nearby or in the room. Because sessions run on a fixed platform link with the same coach each week, you always know who is teaching and when, and the weekly WhatsApp report keeps you informed of what happened.

Can we try before paying?
Yes. We offer a Complimentary 30-min level check before you commit, which doubles as a free demo class. Your child meets a coach, plays and is assessed, and you see the teaching style before any payment. Only after that do we recommend a starter pack or a regular plan.

What if we stop?
Cancel a Mangaluru monthly plan within 48 hours of enrolling and the refund is full, then a pro-rated refund minus sessions attended until the 3rd session, after which there is no refund for the current month and cancelling stops later billing. A 3-month or 6-month package adds a 7-day pro-rated refund from enrolling, and the free 30-minute level check before payment lets you see the coach first.

Will the timings fit our week?

What do I have to do at home?
